We recommend you to take the following things with you:
- Light, loose-fitting clothes to protect you from the sun, sun-glasses and sun-cream
- A raincoat or a waterproof poncho
- Comfortable footwear: espadrilles, trainers, sandals...
- Toiletries and beauty-care products
- Cap, hat
- And if you wish: swimming costume, bath towel, camera, binoculars…
For the field trip scheduled for 18 November, please bring the following:
- Protective products: anti-mosquito, anti-tick, anti-agouti mouse lice (Carapa/Crabwood oil is effective against agouti mouse lice – readily available in Cayenne markets)…
- Long trousers (for walking in the forest…)
- Waterproof clothing in case it rains…
- Good walking shoes…
- A change of clothing for dinner on Thursday, 18 November (Paracou is about 90 minutes from Cayenne and no return transport is planned between the end of the field trip and the dinner).
